About the teacher

Lessons are taught by Mykhail Miakishev — guitarist, teacher and active rock artist of the project Sѣryy Kardinal.

Besides teaching, he actively works on music, performs and develops his own musical projects. Special attention is given not only to technique, but also to musicality, expressive playing and real practical use of skills.

Main directions include fingerstyle, acoustic guitar, rock guitar, accompaniment, technique development and performing favorite songs.

Who these lessons are for

The lessons are suitable for those who have long wanted to learn guitar but did not know where to start. They are also useful for students who have tried learning on their own but want structure, technique control and a clear plan.

We can work with children, teenagers and adults. The pace is selected individually: some students want to quickly learn their first songs, while others want to develop technique, rhythm, ear training and musicality more deeply.

Can I start from scratch?

Yes. We can start with basic technique, hand position, first chords and simple songs.

Can I learn fingerstyle?

Yes. Fingerstyle is one of the strong directions of the course. You can move to it gradually.

What guitar do I need?

Classical, acoustic or electric guitar will work. If you have not chosen an instrument yet, we can help.

Can we learn specific songs?

Yes. The student’s favorite songs can be included in the program if they match the current level or can be adapted.
